Pulled Jackfruit
Jackfruit is increasingly used as a substitute in dishes which usually call for meat. We like the way Jackfruit mimics the pull you get from slow cooked pork and so we have sought to replicate that pulled pork sensation for our vegetarian friends.
We use young and tender Jackfruit which is seasoned and rubbed before being cold smoked for 2-3 hours. We then smother in our Not Quite Texan Pepper Sauce before ramping up the temperature to thicken the sauce slightly.
